I have included the most popular theories that seem the most plausible to me based on the only piece of knowledge that I have so far about his death, which is a single adjective but still a spoiler, so I won't include it. Some of these allow for many interpretations - he could be electrocuted in water, for instance, by anything from a power line falling into a swimming pool to a hair dryer falling into his bathtub, or on dry land by anything from a TV fritzing out to a lightning strike. Which would admittedly make his lightning powers pretty ironic.
