INDIE! [electronic/alternative pop]

VRS.US is a brand new indie electronic duo out of Brisbane, Australia. Specializing in mysterious, dark pop, Madeline Hunt is the vocalist, while Thomas Skerlj handles the instrumental and production. Their music is full of sharp electronic beats and very excitable synths, and their first song “Get Your Way” especially makes use of a drum-n-bass-type drum beat, albeit much more relaxed than you’d find in a true DnB song. To be honest, this song sounds like it should be played during an action scene in the latest Bond movie. It’s contemporary, but it really gets my heart pounding. I hope to hear more from these guys soon.
