Approximately 400 people attended a rally yesterday outside the Central California Women's Facility (CCWF), a women's prison in Chowchilla. The protest highlighted the terrible overcrowding (the worst in the state) faced by women inside following the conversion of the nearby Valley State Prison for Women (VSPW) into a men's facility.
