i love Ghost x Josh too this day still. I never stopped despite the backlash i got. probably bc i also got support on the ship too. anyways i cant help but think of the unfair treatment i got for shipping it 😭 (ik there were reasons for people to not like me admittedly which is fine despite some issues but this isnt about that rn NDJWJFN)
part of why i started shipping ghost x josh back then was even tho she was canonically with dummy before the supposed breakup video existed, is that she flirted with gavin in a stream, and for some reason i didnt think people would flirt with someone while still in a relationship? (tbf i hadnt been in a relationship at the time so i wouldnt really know shit anyways lol) so i thought josh was single. and someone who was coming at me for the ship in general got really mad that was my reasoning. that people could still flirt with other people whike dating. which. yeah i know that now xD
but what's really funny is that technically that couldve implied josh was polyamorous, if she was with dummy but also trying to literally get with Gavin? but yet i couldnt ship Josh with Ghost bc apparently he's off limits to women ahfjsbfbfjajfhejs 😭
tbh a lot of the reasoning and logic of the people who would try and argue why i couldnt ship ghosh was so bad and hypocritical. just say you dont like the ship and move on. not everything had to been a debate, especially when we were both bad at it lmfao.
