I’m in this weird space between uninspired and inspired right now. My brain is buzzing with all these photo ideas, but I just can’t seem to execute them. I need a better camera or a nicer outfit or a cuter corner of the house. And then if I do get a decent photo, I can’t get the colors right in editing or it’s slightly out of focus. And on top of all that, I feel like all the photos I take with my phone recently are the worst quality! They’re just so grainy. Maybe I need to update my phone or something? It just seems so much worse than usual. I’ve had the most simultaneously relaxing and productive Saturday so far, and I’m quite proud of myself! 🥕We walked to the Farmer’s Market. 🚙I got my summer tires put on my car. 💸I paid our bills. 🖤I posted stories for a collaboration. 📧Sent emails. ☀️Lay out in the sun and read Throne of Glass. 🧺Tidied the downstairs. 🥡Had leftover Chinese Food. 🎮Played video games. 🍽And we’re getting together with some friends for dinner! Dan’s gone to pick up his summer tires from his family’s (empty) house a few hours away, so I’m all on my own tonight. Normally, I would be alright with that. Happy to have a little *alone time*. But as I’ve been alone every week day recently (since Dan’s solar maintenance is essential work), the loneliness is hitting a little harder today. And I know that in the grand scheme of things, I’m very lucky to be quarantined with him in general. But just because I’m lucky and grateful, does not mean I’m not allowed to feel a little lonely and sad sometimes too.
