its rather nerve-wracking and tedious to say the least . the people in this town were too friendly for his own liking and yet here he was in front of the red - head. dark brown eyes scanning her features not sure what to say in this exact moment. ❛ um ---- so were family .❜ he lets his fingers tap on the table. ❛ when is your due date. ❜ he had never been good at small talk.

he was grateful for gen,millie and hayden and whoever would volunteer to look after amelia whole he had things to do but he believed that it was better if he took her somewhere where she had time to play with other children, thankfully the school had a daycare center. the first few times were heartbreaking, leaving her there with complete strangers as she cried out to him with her little hands , to say the least he would cry in his car before walking into jacks but the more he did it . it got easier and easier and she seemed to enjoy it. walking through the double door he signed his name and let the staff know he was picking up amelia, the people giving him the go he walked through the doors seeing the brunette playing with amelia , a small smile on his lips as he cleared his throat ❛ um sorry I took long , wor—- ❜ he stops himself once he sees her and his train of thought is lost but he composes it once more ❛ um I’m amelia’s father , axel . axel avery . ❜
