Terrible monsters twisted by magic and filled with insatiable hunger roam Vulnera Caynon. Hunters and fighters in Veligo join Grimmaul House, a prestigious fighting house, by traveling to the Canyon and remaining there without food or water, beyond what they can collect from the land, until they kill a beast and return with it to the city.
This was painted based on the ramblings of Tyrig Lorthak, a young dwarf who learned the hard way that rockfish snakes provide a unique, hallucinogenic experience to those who eat them. Lorthak’s friends commissioned it to celebrate his admittance into Grimmaul House. The painting is still on display, much to Lorthak’s ongoing embarrassment.
