If the intruder expects her to laugh at his words, he wasn’t getting anything. And when he approached closer to her desk, the lady in red merely dismissed him as she looked down and resumed to whatever she was doing before she was painstakingly disturbed. This situation was nothing new to Anastasia nor to her brother, Alastair who was lucky enough not to be around to deal with such a nuisance. But between the two, he would have more patience than she would ever will though the great white-eyed demon liked to play with his food before he swallows them alive.
Anastasia allowed him to speak whatever he needed to say, not sparing another glance at him. It was always the talkative ones that were too afraid to die and seeing how he was rambling on and on without a care in the world, he was scared shitless. But the lady in red was feeling a little bit generous today, perhaps because she had settled most of the items on her to do list which included burning the plastic off some pretty girl’s face while she was awake. Fakes. They’re only pretty till one actually sees them under the light.
“Are you finished wasting your saliva?” she finally spoke, putting the fountain pen down next to the pile of paper she needed to sign off, a shiny blade not too far where her hand rests since her signature needed to be stamped with her own blood. “It’s either you’re completely blind or stupid but let’s go with both for argument sake. There’s no ad nor a for sale sign anywhere to be found hence this property is not on the market. You’re just wasting your time here.”
