There are many things about people's cultures that I would like to ask the significance or the why behind it. But I feel like when people hear you ask, "Why?" They feel offended and lash out. I'm genuinely curious, which is why I asked.
You can never learn something without asking why.
I feel like the dip in activity in the VC community has something big to do with how people just shit on you for accidentally misidentifying things.
Like people make mistakes, and acting like it’s such a god awful thing to misidentify things makes people think we’re all assholes. I’m sure it also makes some people not want to post in fear or someone jumping down their throats.
You’ve got the people on here that are so nice about identifying things for new vultures, or people that just don’t know, but then there are people that will just be snide about it like “Really you should know what this is.”
I mean, damn. We were all new once.
