I FINALLY KNOCKED OFF ONE OF MY MAJOR SPECIES TRANSITION GOALS !!!! I GOT ANGEL FANGS !! :D I won’t be showing them here because it’s obviously on my face and I’m very particular about my online privacy, but I’m so happy !! They hurt so much right now but it’s going to be so worth it to be able to feel my fangs on my lips. Also another thing I didn’t know would happen was since I chose black for the jewellery they put in initially, it actually accentuates the small amount of facial hair on my lips and makes me look more masculine which is like ??? Fuck yeah !!

You know, as I’ve gotten older I’ve gotten more comfortable looking at myself in the mirror and seeing me. It’s not that I ever had delusions that I wasn’t in my own body, it’s just that I felt like when you try to replicate a person in a video game but couldn’t quite get the customisation right so it looks off and bothers you throughout the run. It’s still me, it just doesn’t look like it.

But I finally see myself finding my correct shape. My teeth are still the same, fangless and crooked, but I’m starting to like them now. My nails will never truly be sharp but I liken my fingers to the grasp of vulture’s feet. My hair is wild, and my new body modifications make me look more masculine and creature-ish.

Eventually I’ll get it just right, but it’s finally looking correct after all these years.

This post is actually about how getting a piercing has positively affected me!

Over the past week or two I’ve gone through a shitty depressive swing. I believe I may have some form of seasonal depression considering I have a family history of it. It unfortunately caused me to relapse. It was thankfully not that bad, but I’d been looking forward to getting angel fang piercings for a while.

The day before I got them I was at what felt like the lowest point of my swing, but I realised the day after I got them I had completely turned around and returned to my mostly normal self, and I quit self-harming yet again.

I’ve been so focused on taking care of this piercing that I don’t exactly have time to mope around, and the soreness means I am already hurt and don’t have a reason to inflict more pain on myself.

That said, I sort of understand why mental illness is related to body modification; but that also being said, it’s not really an unhealthy coping mechanism when piercings are made safely.

I’m glad this helped me, despite how unlikely I thought this outcome would have been! And I’m already itching for another haha

Originally I did not get the hype for devastator and the constructicons (and prowl) and was a low-key Thundercracker fan but NOW I get the hype after reading IDW. I’m on phase two and it devastated me (heh get it) when prowl got separated from the constructicons. Yeah sure deserved for the war crimes but :( let him have his polycule … and Thundercracker !! Oh my gosh I loved him in phase one from his personality even though there were only small glimpses and really loved how he after a point he just thought the war was ridiculous and rejected it. I feel like he is the only true selfless character of IDW despite his clear selfishness in pursuit of pleasure (and by that I mean his dog, relaxation, and human culture like screen plays). I love buster … “who explodes ships when there’s dogs around?!” I love u thunderthighs
