A few months ago Genos would have likely surprised himself to consider a monster he was called on to fight to be a inconvenience; however, the fact of the matter was he had two bags of groceries filled to the brim, and Saitama was waiting for him.
He couldn’t get to the location via rocket boosters-- the groceries wouldn’t be able to handle them. Still, he sprinted to B-City where a tree-like mysterious being was causing a commotion. His scent-processors were bombarded by an overwhelming mossy smell as he approached the scene. It was a good thing he couldn’t splinters, he supposed.
Setting his groceries down in a secluded corner, he only hoped that they would be there when he eliminated the threat.
Then, stepping towards it...
“I am Genos, The Demon Cyborg, and if you do not cease your rampage, I will be forced to destroy you.”
He held up a palm, showing the glowing fire-blast readying itself should the beast fail to yield.
And, of course, the being was dismissive. Instead, it went on a rant about humans and deforestation-- an ethics lesson Genos simply did not have the time for.
He did a quick scan to make sure everyone evacuated before he delivered the fire-blast, but it seemed as if someone stayed behind...
