love LOVE drunk on you!!! love the easy dynamic you wrote with reader/az and how companionable everyone is. just feels so natural and fluid and just SUCH a delight to read. love the entire fic and this tempest, ours too- you put so much work into building the established relationship (reader/az, reader/rhys) pre-smut in a way that isn't overly-expository and various in style.. its lovely idk what to say. your fics are treats!!!!!!! and love the difference of az in drunk on you vs vwmt. honestly i just need drunk on you injected straight into my veins

this was such a nice sweet message to read omg im very happy to hear you liked these fics so much. i've been writing so much smut that i feel like the only way to not get sick of it is to build the relationship before, OR (what i've found i enjoy more) showcasing a relationship that is already built. it's so fun to write characters in a close and almost familial way, and thats what i really enjoyed about Drunk on You. i got to write such a nice easy dynamic between them all that i haven't really explored much in my fics :)

This Tempest, Ours, was kinda the same thing? there wasn't the same group dynamic obv but it was really fun to decide what kind of friendship rhys and the reader would have, and to find out how to showcase it without being like "you guys have been friends for a long time :) you are very close :) you sometimes treat each other a little more closely than regular friends do :)"

like i said, i write smut so often that i need to find ways to make the build up to it more interesting (i.e. different each time, or as different as i can make them lol)

and yeah omg Drunk on You az and VWMT az seem like entirely different people dont they? i havent touched that series in a bit but i def wanted that az to be very emotionally constipated. like sure, there was a pre-existing friendship there, but i imagined it to be very like,,,, awk and a little tense bc yall arent really thaaat close, but you hang in the same friend group, if that makes sense? Drunk on You was more of a,, yeah you guys are BESTIES. like yeah him and rhys and cass are close, but no one knows the present day him as well as the reader does, and same the other way. reader's got other friends (feyre, mor, maybe others idk what you do in your free time), but AZ knows her best.
