i have named them Vx3. they're not actually a production V model but a 'copycat' scraphead that used the V models as a basis (rather than the strictly pragmatic mindset of, say, the swordsmachine)
their abilities are strictly worse than the originals' (for example, their wings are completely solid and mainly used for balance) but the resemblance affords them some amount of protection nonetheless, through batesian mimicry
their patchwork machinery tends to put a lot of stress on areas such as joints, which require frequent maintenance or else they will start to fall apart
