I missed the SPN episode I'm so confused lmao
Ok, here’s what happened:
There’s this killer called Thin Man (aka Slenderman) that shows up in people’s photos, stalking them before he kills them by cutting their throat. The Winchesters thought it was a ghost because he seemed to teleport. They find that the Ghostfacers, now just Ed and Harry calling themselves the Supernaturalists and having a pretty good following now for making Thin Man famous, are on the case. There’s petty feud, obviously. We find out that Ed and Harry also have some tension of their own because Harry was going to leave the Ghostfacers for a normal life and get married. Ed couldn’t let this happen because it’s just the two of them against the world, y’know? So, he tells Sam and Dean that he actually invented Thin Man to make Harry stay. But he doesn’t know how it took off and became a real thing- people are being murdered. So then a ton of Dean/Sam Ed/Harry parallels are made, “I can’t trust you anymore” “You did this for you” “You dragged me back into this” etc. They go after the thing and it turns out to be two guys, one who is in the mask and commits the murders (for stupid selfish trivial things) and the other, a security guard, who makes sure it all looks seamless and ghostly and keeps publicity up. Dean and Sam are captured and about to be killed when Ed and Harry come in to save them, and Harry ends up killing the murderer. Ed and Harry part ways, Harry saying that lying to him was unforgivable and getting a ride with the Winchesters off into the distance while Ed stands there with tears in his eyes, alone. Major obvious parallels, like *cough* Sam and Dean do you get it yet, secrets ruin relationships *cough*
And in the promo for the next ep (March 18th, so another hiatus) Crowley is locked up in a hotel room shooting himself up with blood and a total wreck when he was supposed to be finding the First Blade.
