"I remember our first kiss." / vxrgil
Wheatley held Virgil's hand when they sat outside the hospital for the first time. The sky burned their eyes like hell, but it was worth it-- colorful flowers bloomed near the benches, within the center of the small area. A taste of the outside world for patients stuck in whitewashed walls and patterned tiles.
In all honesty, he nearly wept out of relief, unable to smell hand sanitizer in the air, nor hear the constant beep and whirr of machinery. Virgil never once let the flowers out of his sight.
After some small talk and a few gentle touches, Virgil spoke up. "I remember our first kiss."Wheatley's grip on his hand tightened just a bit, eyes blinking faster. "Y-yeah... I do too. When you... I.. I don't think you understand how in love I felt at that moment. You kissed me, but you looked around before you did, as if you'd be in trouble if caught.. Did you really want to kiss me then, or-or was it just a trick? Did you kiss the weak human so he'd trust you without thought? Was our first kiss a genuine one...?"
