The whole “Sylvannas’s Val’kyr can only raise humans into new Forsaken” bothered me for a lot of Cata because it seemed like such a silly justification for the Alliance to send in the other races as support and for the humans of Hillsbrad to willingly take on the Worgen curse when the scourge was composed of undead from all the races.

But then I remembered that the Val’kyr were made to raise Vyrkul, and humans are just malformed descendants of Vyrkul.

I am very pleased to introduce our singular vyrkul to join us for the exchange. This is whinecraft's magnificent Aernleif, who I may secretly aspire to be when I grow up.
