Knowing a lot of languages, Minhyuk held a lot of options. Often for evals before, he had gone for Korean hip hop or English hip hop songs, but for the current language eval, he decided to utilize the underused language that not many people knew that he had which was French. For a long time, he'd kept his skills in French hidden but for now, maybe for a single eval, would be great and easy enough. hell, he kept it to himself and often didn't speak in French, claiming that he only knew Mandarin and English, and Korean. He was skilled in the languages he knew well and he hoped that the eval would be one to show off his skills.
He supposed that he could rap in French but he needed a good song to show off that skills that he had. Maybe something fast and more r&b style, he supposed would be ideal. He then remembered that there was a song released in France back in 2013 by a French singer named Maitre Gims. That might be a good song to do for the evals. He listened to the song and decided that it was going to be a good one to do. He attended the lessons for language idioms and stuff but didn't put much effort into learning a language he already more or less knew since he had spent his elementary years in french immersion classes (where it was social studies, math, and French language arts in French and everything else was in English).
But he supposed not everyone needed to know that. It was going to stay as one of his many many secrets. He practiced the song and made it seem like he was just newly learning the language. when it would be the performance day, he would reveal his true skill. for now, it could stay hidden of sorts. it could be like a surprise to the trainers and katie lee.
