The Old Town Queen of Chiromancy and the Old Town King of Jazz: Miss Lucille and W.C. Friendly

After acquiring SimPose, I have managed to take a closer look at TS1 NPCs and decided to exhume my old TS2 recreations and polish them up (I’ve uploaded a previous version of Miss Lucille on my old blog). Miss Lucille’s fantastic dress and hat was created by none other than @crispsandkerosene (I’ve included the hat mesh in the package). W.C.’s saxophone was wonderfully made by @blueheavensims and is in Glasses like Miss Lucille’s hat, and I’ve also included the mesh in the package. However, you will have to go to his website, Blue Heaven Sims for the posebox if you want W.C. to hold his instrument correctly.

Also, I suggest that you use Clean Installer to install these Sims, as there is an Unknown file named b18484e15a91c5a039d61f635d15d7c3 and several simmers have said that this may cause problems in their game. I suggest that you delete this file in Clean Installer, just to be on the safe side! Please contact me if you run into any problems :))

I’ve decided to rework on some old Sims I’ve made, namely W.C. Friendly the Old Town saxophone player and the one I’ve already uploaded, Miss Lucille. Since I now have a working SimPose with the NPC skins, I can take a closer look at the old TS1 NPCs.

Newcomers include Giuseppi Renni the Organ Grinder (Mr. McCutch the monkey will have to follow later), the Undertaker (Magic Town Gumbo Vendor), and Faerie Queen Mara (with her hair tied back for more ideal sculpting).

The Friendly family remains small but close after experiencing two recent tragedies. Lucille had an accident and unfortunately passed away in 1305, leaving her husband a widower and their two young children without their mother. In 1309 W.C. lost his only son, Winston, to smallpox. He's very grateful that he still has his sweet girl, Winona, but worries over her constantly.

W.C. Friendly, 61

W.C. is well-known throughout the village for his musical ability. When he doesn't have an instrument in hand he's usually found whistling as he carries on with his chores. He sometimes says the wrong thing, but overall he works hard and does his best.

Winona Friendly, 8

Little Winona is a very playful little girl. She does her best to be helpful to her father and is perhaps a bit more grown up than girls her own age, but she's responsible and well-mannered which many elders approve of. She's expected to make a fine match some day.
