The mixture of fresh fallen snow and the remainings of dried leaves crack under her feet, as she sneaks around the area to find her prey. Where Tiffany is right now, was once one of the biggest parks in Seoul. Now it looks almost like a forrest. The walkways are now overgrown with bushes and the trees have grown higher then some of the now rotten buildings.
Tiffany hides her face in the old black scarf to protect her face from this stinging cold. She slowly makes her way through this little forrest as she hears a sound of breaking branches to her right. Immediately, she stays still and crouches behind a tree. A big boar is standing a few meters away from her. She smiles silently and reaches to her bow, but her eyes never leave the prey in front of her. Slowly, Tiffany breathes out before she straightens her back and flexes the bow.
She could understand, that most people hatet this season: the cold creeps through buildings, the probisions are even less then in summer and some houses collapse under the pressure of the snow. Despite of this, Tiffany still loves this ruthless season. She always thinks that the world looks more peacefull in this white coat. Of course, the risk was high to meet someone or somewhat unwanted, but she simply ignored that there was probably someone else near this area. She herself knew that this was naive.
Tiffany did not hunt it for just herself. Since the food reservoir is getting smaller from day to day, she promissed to her few dear ones that she will take care of this problem. Of course, she did not say that she goes outside the zone. They would only worry and that again would rise the risk that they would want to come with her.
The cold bites her skin and snowflakes are hitting her face. The boar squeaks and runs away after Tiffany released the string between her fingers. She lowers her head and arms shortly to rub the snow out of her face. When she rises up her head again the boar is nowhere to be seen. Tiffany still smiles, as she sees the red stains on the white ground.
