There are specific clocks that are uncraftable and can only be found in the world itself. You’ll always see Hereafter Mumbo and Grian with them.
They're called Structure Clocks and they behave very differently from normal clocks. They’re powerful enough to alter time and bring people through time and realities, like Mumbo and Grian.
They look almost exactly like normal clocks apart from the Inverted Clock (aka the Blue Clock), that Grian is commonly seen with. This clock is incredibly important to the AU and is the cause of why Mumbo and Grian’s appearances look the way they do (blue/yellow themed, clock/time motifs). This is called Clockwrought.
If you’re unfamiliar with the word wrought, it was historically a past participle of "work". Clockwrought is a neat lil reference to clockwork.
Wrought is also commonly used to describe materials (usually metals) that have been physically shaped through effort rather than cast in a mold. If you look up wrought iron or wrought gold, you can see some really cool patterns!! Wrought clocks were a big inspiration.
So in the Hereafter AU, being Clockwrought means the clock has physically reshaped the person.
