Working on batches of character refs for our (me and @detective-dick-gumshoes-pot-room’s) ‘Ronpa extended universe! Wowie-zowie!
I’ll post them as I finish the little “families”. There are canonical inaccuracies and changes, because we are playing with our toys.
These descriptions are more or less copy-and-pasted from my previous post with these guys’ old refs.
Makoto Naegi still works at the Future Foundation- and to nobody's surprise, he's married to Kyoko. He's the principal of the the rebuilt Hope's Peak Academy- where nobody takes him seriously, as usual— but he's doing his best. He is ridiculously in love with his wife. He is not dealing with an absurd amount of trauma, no sirree.
Kyoko's a full-time detective for the Future Foundation now. She's gotten a little more snarky, and a little more fed up with the world. But she'd still die for Makoto.As it turns out, she does a pretty good job as a leader— so she's the head of the investigative and law-enforcement branch of the Future Foundation.
And guess what? They have a daughter-
Kiko Naegi! (Here’s her Toyhou.se page!) Kyoko's no-nonsense attitude combined with- well. She actually is much more like Byakuya (who she sees as her uncle) than she is Makoto. She was done with the world the moment she came into it- she doesn't really understand people, and she has no intention of trying to. She doesn't like them. She's got a deadpan attitude and a low-tolerance for bullshit. She got the autism from her uncle Byakuya 😔
And as a bonus, here’s the man of the hour himself— Makoto’s begrudging best friend and Kiko’s godfather. He and Kiko get each other. When he dies, she will get everything he owns, he says. I’ll prolly repost him when I finish his husband and his hippie-ass son.
Uh. I really like our version of Nagito. I think he’s really cool

when you’re put into another killing game sixteen years after your first and realize that your worldview has changed so drastically that those who were once agents of pure despair are now once more your pinnacles of hope, and yet you would still sentence them to death to save the child of your unrequited lover because maybe, in a way, your willingness to sink into despair for the sake of someone you love is the truest form of hope

he has a boyfriend who is also his arch nemesis now (that I have too many thoughts about and I’ve been exhibiting so much self control about sharing them because I’m such a good boy)
