Surprise baby shower
My EDD is on my boyfriend’s birthday, so I arranged a surprise birthday party / baby shower for him. Despite my suspicious behavior the last couple of days up till the shower, he was SO surprised! We held it in my dog training club, so I had a few days to set up the decorations and prepare food and stuff.
Literally everyone of his friends showed up! They bought both gifts for him and for our daughter even though I had only given them his wishlist. They were really excited about it. I mean, one even made him a diaper cake. We had a BBQ and lots of alcohol (it was a party with 20 Danes after all) and it lasted way past midnight.
Baby showers are not really a tradition in Denmark. It’s a new one at least. So it was a first for everyone who attended 😂
