So one of my boyfriend's closest friends just wrote on Facebook how he and his girlfriend had been informed about the passing of their twin fetuses at the 12 week scan.
It had happened only a few days prior apparently. It's so sad and I couldn't help myself from crying a little. It's only two weeks ago that we talked with them about how exciting it was! And how our child would be playing with their twins in the future.
I don't know what to say when I see them. I just wrote "oh no. Sending you my thoughts" or something like that on the announcement.
What do they even want to hear in a situation like this?
