Happy New Year & #WaackingWednesday! Our next #WaackingWednesdaySessions will be on January 17th, this time in Torrance at Sabor de Mexico Dance Studio | 23220 S Normandie Ave, Torrance, CA 90502. Entry for this one will be $3 just to cover the costs of the studio. Parking spaces available in front of the studio but when that fills up the lot across the street is available as well. ✨ This will be the 3nd of our monthly Waacking Wednesday sessions! We wanted to create a space for the SoCal Waacking/Whacking/Punking dance community to have more access to a session catered to their style. But don't think that this session is limited to only to one style of dance, all kinds of styles are welcomed! Just be prepared for any style of music to be playing and ready to PUNK the music and make it your B----! ✨ If you're worried that you won't be advanced enough or that you don't know much about the style, don't be! Because we will also be running some drills and technique at the beginning of the session to everyone warmed up 👯♂️ We want to foster a loving and inclusive community where we share our knowledge with each other and to also pass on the knowledge that was passed on to us. This is a session so you don't always have to be in the cypher, you can go "labbing" in the corner, train with your peers, or just prance about all over the room!
