OH. ABSOLUTELY. like you're trying to slip away quietly but the lack of your warmth and a single brush of the bedsheets is enough to wake dex up with a start and he's all like "where you going?" or worse "you leaving me?" he's so incredibly dramatic about it. and like- okay you let him follow you around the house at 3 am but then he's standing there the whole time looking half asleep, his eyes hazy and face so drowsy it makes you feel bad, but if you try to tell him he should go back to bed, that you'll be there in a sec dex just frowns and he huffs, he folds his arms over his chest sternly "no! i'm taking you with me"

I dont know if you've answered this or not but when do you think transmasc shane Knew he was trans? I imagine him being very certain from a young age and just being very matter of fact about it like any alternative never occurred to him whatsoever. Anyway its time for hockey practice so he doesnt have time to worry about it

i agree that he was young when he realized!!!! and i think even when he was like Really little hed insist he was a boy whenever people referred to him as a girl/lady/whatever and everyone would laugh it off and be like haha oh kids silly shane and then i think as he gets older he maybe leans toward being a tomboy and he drops the insistence on being a boy for a long while bc he doesnt need to think about that and everyone pushes back against him anyways so like...whatever, he can just be a tomboy...at least boy is in the title right?

and then once hes probably toward like middle school/first year of high school age i think he comes out to yuna and david and they're like oh okay Got It and they immediately got him help with transitioning and switched schools so that shane wouldn't feel so much pressure and so many eyes on him and so he got to start at a new place with a new name (nice to meet you shane <3) and hes able to dress how he wants and hes more confident than ever and he ends up on the guys hockey team and hes so good and loves it so much hes never played better. he always was so good but the confidence radiating off of him because hes able to present the way he wants as best he can? ohhhh my god fucking WATCH OUTTTTT for shane on the ice hes kicking ass and taking names!!!!! and i think he manages to make it through school very stealthily because i want that for him and if i say any different i will in fact make myself sad and i want myshane happy

also i do think it would be super cutesy and fun if when people called him his deadname when he was little he would call himself shane and so when it came time to pick a name maybe he asks yuna and david to pick one since they picked the first time and he loves them so much he wants them to be part of this too especially since they were supportive and david and yuna would kinda laugh to themselves and be like "what about shane? like you'd say when you were little?" and shane would love it so much
