Hiddle Me This: WOW. I love the ending. LOVE IT. I was prepared for an onslaught, so the actual ending was a pleasant surprise. I think it's pretty darned realistic. People aren't cardboard cutouts. They're complicated and emotional. This ending is perfect, IMO. Thanks, Cumberknit! I also want to give a shoutout to the author of "Of Consequence." I have been really, really enjoying the story and I am really looking forward to future installments. "ALL THE FEELS!" LOL

OMG, HMT!!! I actually SCREAMED when I saw it at the top of the THF page. SCREAMED. Scared the cat to death! LOL And it was worth the wait and the scream. I may have to take up drinking to get through to the end of this fic, though. I check EVERY DAY for updates on it. I can't help it. I broke my own rule about not reading a fanfic until it is completed. I avoided starting HMT for WEEKS, then decided to "try it," and got heartily sucked in. Darn you Cumberknit, you genius woman you! GAAAHHH. <3

For the person who wanted to read a fic of Tom comforting his GF, there is the final part of "The Neighbor" in which Tom indeed comforts his ill lady love. It's called "Minding the Sick." That is in the FINAL part though, and that fic is good, so you really ought to consider reading the whole thing!! :-)

I've been online since it was "online" the way anyone under 30 would think of it, and it's been my experience from Day 1 at university that most people are lurkers of the first water. They don't reply, comment, "like" or otherwise make a peep about anything. Because yes, a lot of them are online specifically to be anonymous and to indulge in things they can't admit they like in public. The ones who do hit "like" or comment are the brazen ones. LOL Count me into the Brazen Club!!
