UPDATE on Wa’Helu the orphaned/rescued Opossum/Possum, found by my giant puppy, Nandi last month. Wa’Helu is experiencing superior care and rehabilitation - having gone from about 4oz when found to his current weight of 2lbs. UPDATE: The baby possum, Wa’Helu (he is named after Chief Leschi’s most legendary, loyal and determined lieutenant-warrior of the Mighty Nisqually Tribe/Nation) has a strong spirit and will... he is eating with the help of his caretaker, Kim who we took him to yesterday for additional care and possible companionship with another baby orphan Opossum, whom she already has... here he is!
