       “MM, DO TELL ME.” It’d be a lie if she said she wasn’t curious; curious and curiouser are the witches (most especially the one who distances herself away from the lot, the highest of high!), and the girl before her looks ever-ready to start confiding. “Is it really as bad as you think it is? Come on, have a cup. I’m sure it’s not that bad - if it is, though, oh well. Too bad, isn’t it, Fujino-chan?”

       “EH, FUJINO,  wait, wait....!”  It’s the whirl of excitement that she feels from the otherwise withdrawn girl, clearly evident when the younger one took her by the hand and ran through the crowd in Debenhams. London never ceases to impress by the day, and long strands of ponytailed-purple fly in the air, along with Fujino turning her head back to smile happily over at her. “Wait, I have heels on, wait....!”

曲がる   ——  “is it presumptuous of me to think that I can protect you?” still, determined eyes look up at her exalted teacher. “that I can be your tool?”

       “NOW, NOW,  isn’t that a deep thought?” A single thought’s always the deepest and most profound, and Fujino happens to be a container of not one, but numerous little worlds within. There are people like her who have the greatest abilities having landed onto their lap as if they were winning lottery tickets that just fell from the sky, and then there’s Touko in all her wizened (but not too wizened; she’s very much truly still in her twenties no matter how anyone would look at it!) glory with the bearings of a retired school-madam. Management has principles, but her business has close to no hierarchy with the simple reason of a severe lack of manpower; she intends to keep it this way, but the Asagami girl’s words spin a tale.

       Though, it makes Touko wonder as to who is the more dangerous one between them both; is it Fujino who yearns for the thrill of claiming a life as if she lords over it, or is it her whose hands are stained with even more blood and carries the scent of formaldehyde? Which of the two carries precedence, instinct or intention? Yet, Touko offers the girl a smile instead; really, what can she say to something like that?

       “Lighten up a bit, Fujino-chan! A glum thought like that doesn’t suit your pretty face.” There’s that, and she knows that the girl would have enough sense to stop.
