Um… I don’t know if I’m just in a low mood from being sick these last few days, but with this cold causing my brain to run at like thirty percent of its normal speed, I had a lot of time to sit and think about stuff. (and start watching Reign, but that’s another story)

I think it’s time I spill this. 

It was dumb of me to think I could possibly earn enough money for a laptop through commissions and shenanigans alone. I might’ve let the fact that more than 1000 people see all my posts get to my head, and I apologize for that. I thought I maybe had a chance, but who am I kidding.

I dunno… I feel like I’ve created this sort of barrier since posting that issue… Some kind of barrier of ‘professionalism’… is it just my imagination? I don’t wanna create that kind of atmosphere. I still want to do this for fun, at least for now.

What about saving up the money? I’m working it out. My parents presented the option of teaching little kids private piano lessons (they’re both music teachers), which is much better than getting a minimum wage job doing something time consuming and even somewhat uncomfortable for me. (talking to strangers on a regular basis?! noooo thank you)

While figuring out how to teach small children would definitely be a learning experience for me, it’s a much more reliable job than… this commission thing I brought up.

Look, if any of you were actually interested in commissioning me, that’s great. We can work something out anyway. I will GLADLY accept the money and draw for you. But something is telling me I need to go in another direction with this, and push a little more of my time in other directions as well.

… after I’m not sick, that is.
