So tonight i had a party of about 30 people come in. And they were nice not too demanding for the size if the group. They paid and left their bill was about 300 dollars in total And not one single asshole left me a tip 300 dollars 30 people and 0 fucking dollars for a tip I am so salty 😑
This kid at a table I waited on just asked for my number and I had to explain to him (after his parents were like "come on, give him a chance!") that I am gay and they tipped me $20 I think bc they felt bad
I'm working a double on the 4th of july may the lord be with me :) :) :)
I got $165 in tips at work today where is my throne
To the guy who snapped his fingers at me and gave me 10p for my "college fund":
I am the junior manager of a well reviewed and successful restaurant in London. And I'm 20. Don't look down on me. I'm doing well in a field you know nothing about. Stop measuring me by your standards.
This has been such a super rough day, physically and emotionally, ughhh. Bitching beneath the cut.
40 top after 30 top after 40 top of stupid baseball players who were all paying in separate groups and NO ONE WAS SITTING WITH WHO THEY WERE PAYING WITH. And then everyone kept MOVING AROUND. And they all wanted something and then the kitchen was having trouble. I couldn't stop my hands from shaking and everyone kept telling me to breathe which made me want to punch them like, okay, sure! I'll just sit right down and take a damn break while your glasses are empty and your food not there yet? Seriously, what is even the point of saying something like that to your waitress? They all tipped okay and in the end I guess it was alright but I was so hella stressed and dizzy and sore and at one point after my tables decided to shuffle around AGAIN and pull another table out of another server's section AGAIN, I had to go on the back dock outside and scream profanity and throw shit around which helped me feel a little bit better.
And then right after work I went to see The Fault in Our Stars and let's be honest, that just wasn't a smart idea. So now my head hurts because it was so sad and my body hurts and I'm still all shaky and sad and tired and ughhhh . . .
GREAT movie though. Super good.
Only two thirds left of my 2.5 mile walk home. This will be the fourth day in a row that I will have walked a minimum of 2.5 miles. At the end of this I will have walked 13 miles this week and it's only thursday. Though, I must say I'm not enjoying walking home after a lengthy 7.5 hour shift with no break. Blah.
