So, it's been like, idk, a century(?) since i last logged in but wtv, i just jumped on my annual visit to this blog today 'cause i got a mail on my inbox saying that this little corner of the Tumblr landscape just turned 5. I honestly didn't expect to still have this many followers and even so, i highly doubt my blog's even that relevant nowadays, my inbox and my chat got spider webs, dust and broken windows and most ppl i would usually interact with here are not around and most don't care since it's been a minute, understandably so. I just came to say that i don't know if this will get continuous activity ever again but i still like the blog i built so i won't ever take it down by my own iniciative, so please, suit yourself, i hope you enjoy it. life's kinda fucked up rn too but i just graduated from college and shit, so basically, it's a lot going on. Shout out to everybody doin' their thing out here, hope everything's cool with y'all

I had to really give this some thought. I decided to choose films that make me happy when I'm sad. They also remind me of family or friends, so you can't go wrong.

Ferris Buellers Day Off - I can quote this entire movie front to back. It still makes me laugh and reminds me of both my sister and cousin. Watching it brings back so many fond memories.

WALL-E is too damn cute. Look how adorable he is?! I can't...

When Harry Met Sally - another classic and brings back so many memories

Uncle Buck - I mean?! Who doesn't find this movie comforting?! It's so damn funny. Clearly, I'm aging myself with all of these 80s movies. No shame in my game!

Day 25: #30daysongchallenge A song that you like by an artist no longer living: Notorious BIG - The Wake Up Show Freestyle with @ceasealeo March 1, 1997 This was a moment, so much so it went viral without social media even existing. BIG was in LA live on the @worldfamouswakeupshow with @realsway & @store.kingtech BIG was there for the Soultrain awards and to promote his soon to be released sophomore album, Life After Death. The Barz are familiar to most as verses from Life After Death starting with “Long Kiss Goodnight” verses 1 & 2. The 1st over Sadat X’s “Stages and Lights” and the 2nd verse on Mobb Deep’s “Hell on Earth”. With verse 1 of “You’re Nobody ‘Til Somebody Kills You” over the same. Finally BIG kicks the opening verse to “Kick in The Door” over the instrumental of East Flatbush Project’s eerie piano driven banger “Tried by 12” BIG dipped and dapped masterfully over the beats with perfectly timed punchlines and metaphors, humor and even a little self editing, all while drawing a line in the sand, throwing barely veiled shots at Pac and Deathrow Records on their own soil.
