I saw someone call eliatropes "white people" and I could not take it seriously at all because

1. Eliatropes are a separate species than humans entirely. They are an alien species, not a class of humans like the Twelvian races

2. There are several instances of dark skinned eliatropes

(Les Gardiens had such amazing character designs for the eliatropes)
