Duck Hunting ~ Where to Find Donald Duck ~ Disneyland

One of the unique experiences the Disney parks offers is the ability to meet and take pictures with many of their well loved characters. Lately the Princesses have become a major focus for many a park goer, but the Fab Five are still around, albeit sometimes difficult to find. I, myself, have been to Disneyland in Anaheim a number of times and have never met half the characters I had wanted to. So, where in Disneyland is Donald Duck?

From what I've been able to discern from reports spanning the internet, Donald is said to frequent two specific spots during the non-holidays; Main Street, USA and Toontown. Not many people have had much luck spotting the duck around his boat in Toontown, though many have stated in various forums that he can be spotted most often on Main Street. His favored spots are said to be in front of the bank, the firehouse and near the flag pole. He's a bit short, so keep a weather eye out!

If planning for a trip to Disneyland during the holiday season, Donald can be found in his Christmas finery on Main Street as well as hanging about at Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland. He's said to dress up in costume for Halloween as well, but he's been reported found only on Main Street during that time. Sounds like the best way to get a picture and a hug with Donald is to stay on Main Street. 

Remember, Donald can always be found in the parades, but if you want to take a picture or get an autograph, you need to find him wandering around the park.
