loosely plotted started for @walkedearth
after her experience with donna and with hope, rose had found it within herself to move forward in her life. or at least, to move forward with towards something new. she was still broken hearted, don’t get her entirely wrong here. in fact, some days she still felt like retreating and curling up in the tardis and hiding. she even considered ditching this appointment but after spotting the coils on the hospital and well, what could she say? she was a sucker for trouble.
and oh, did trouble ever find her. she was staring right in the face of trouble and oh, she liked how trouble looked. she was trying to calm her hearts down, well aware that humans weren’t supposed to have two hearts. doctor stroker calling her marion wolfe was a strange feeling on top of that. rose examined the woman’s face, a small smirk on her face as rose noticed that she’d been taken aback by the double heartbeat. she winked at the woman who was apparently named miss jones. ❝ ah, well, i’ve been feeling a bit… hm… different, let’s say, ❞ rose admitted when dr. stroker asked her specifically what was wrong.
she smiled still at miss jones, her brow furrowing slightly when she noted the electrical discharge. dr. stroker might think it was just static electricity but rose disagreed. then again, rose didn’t really have much in the way to offer of a different explanation. not without sounding clinically insane, anyway. though, arguably… she noted the electrical currents seemed to be getting worse. time to do what she did best: completely disregard her own safety and investigate.
which, unfortunately, included realising they’d wound up on the moon of all places. ❝ brilliant ,❞ rose remarked under her breath as she changed back into her normal clothes, pulling her jacket on and opening the curtains to spot none other than miss jones again. ❝ hello again. so… you bring up a great point! how do you think we’re breathing ?❞ the other girl mentioned that they can’t and rose rolled her eyes. ❝ well obviously we are so we might as well find out why, yeah? c’mon, i can’t be the only one curious here .❞
