The chariots were all on their way, the final one having just left the stables with the clopping of hooves echoing after it. Her eyes watched after it as they had since her sister had ridden out of sight. A deep sigh passed through her lips as she turned her gaze towards the large screen that displayed the live footage from the parade. “Do you really think any of this is going to matter?” She questioned softly as she came to stand next to Walker. She couldn’t help but feel dejected, defeated already. “How is any of this fair?” It was the first time she’d questioned the decision, her thoughts usually more optimistic and in favor of the games.
