After watching friends get married and post pictures of the journals they kept for their husband since they met, or how they set up their new house in such a quaint and lovely manner, I've gotten a little discouraged about my upcoming role as wife. I don't write poems, or collect mementos, and I have too much stuff to have a sweet and tidy apartment the size of a shoe box. I'm a terrible cook and I don't wear makeup, but hey...
