Blake: I do this thing where I isolate myself because of what happened to me, and then I end up upset because I know there’s this thing that has all of this opportunity, and I’m like why can’t I have this amazing thing, but really the only thing standing in the way of that thing and myself is me. “Not necessarily, but sometimes it’s not all about literal looks. You know how someone can just seem plain and then you get to know them and who they are starts to change how they look. He also has some awesome lips.” Blake pointed out as she was flipping through her Cosmopolitan magazine.

Blake felt terrible for what she had told him, no matter how much of her meant it. But she also felt terrible for spending time with him, because she knew there was no way he was going to see it the way she needed him to yet she was still there doing exactly what she shouldn’t be. And he was being overly nice and understanding yet again. “Hey..” She waited for the boy to turn to her before standing on the tips of her toes and pressing a small kiss to his cheek, “Thanks, you’re way too ‘i get it’ these days.”
