Online Fundraising and Walking Events for Make-A-Wish
A graduate of Alfred University with a BA in philosophy and St. Mary’s Univeristy School of Law, Jeffrey Lavenhar manages Petrovest Energy, LLC, in Englewood, Colorado. Jeffrey Lavenhar supports several charities, including the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Through his donations, Jeff Lavenhar is able to help the foundation continue its work of enabling children to live out their dreams. The Make-A-Wish Foundation seeks to help every child who has a life-threatening medical condition experience a wish. With countless donors, volunteers, and supporters, the organization grants a wish every 37 minutes, changing the children’s lives forever. One way that wishes are granted is through online fundraising. When donors set up fundraising pages, they ask their coworkers, friends, and families to make donations to improve children’s lives. Millions of donated and fundraised dollars have helped children who have life-threatening health problems to live one of their wishes. Another way to grant wishes is through Walk For Wishes. People can participate in the walks near where they live. They can also organize their own walk for a specific child or for Make-A-Wish in general; all of the proceeds go to children and their wishes.
