I definitely learnt to treasure elements that had felt optional in the lower difficulties (village defenses, temporary hp, transformations).

When Hank got critically hit on the way to the boss chamber, I had the choice between letting him get maimed and survive or let him die in exchange for 3 armor for the rest of the party.

Seeing that it was the final encounter and I had no plans of promoting Hank this time around, I opted for the extra armor.

The game made sure to not let me forget my decision... right in the feels.

And here the bad boy is in its full glory!

It drives around the battlefield, invulnerably, overrunning friend and foe.

And a shot of the dragon, two turns before a tree exploded on it.

As last words go, “What’s a fucking tree doing in my mine?” isn’t a bad choice at all.

Just when the heroes were two provinces away from the dragon lair.

Joke's on you, Drauven, I decided not to bother with incursions anymore last chapter already. Have fun destroying villages.

The heroes rescued their informant and learned that a dragon is behind all the seemingly disconnected calamities of the last fifty or so years.

The Drauven’s tyrant is a very modern dragon - it has a digging machine!

The heroes need to follow it for a chance to get a drop on the dragon. Let’s hope they can tell the one from the other.
