DIY Cornhole Project, MI

In Michigan, Cornhole is a very popular lawn game.

“Cornhole is a lawn game popular in North America in which players or teams take turns throwing fabric bean bags at a raised, angled board with a hole in its far end. The goal of the game is to score points by either landing a bag on the board or putting a bag through the hole”

This summer, we built our very own Cornhole game and tested it at Walled Lake in Novi, MI. This was a family project where Anna’s Dad and Jan built the wooden board and Anna’s Mum pitched in with sewing the bags.

Sunday walk on frozen Walled Lake, MI

The winters in Michigan are cold, snowy and long – but also so very beautiful! After a very stable cold period, we (or mostly Anna) gathered all our courage and walked across Walled Lake. It was such a busy and unique scenery on the lake. People were doing ice- fishing, ice skating or riding with their ski-doo across the ice. And as the icing on the cake, we could enjoy a beautiful sunset. What an awesome winter scenery!
