Here is that nasty piece of angle cut to length and cleaned up.
Flat bar is cut to length and the holes drilled for attaching it it the TV. A quick test fit, and then its time to cut the angle for the cross mount.
These are the scrap pieces of metal that I am using. Left to right, 2"x1/8" channel, old piece of 3/4" metal gas pipe, standing up together are two pieces of 2"x3/16" flat bar, and old 7/8" solid axle, and finally some 1.5"x.5"x1/4" angle.
Today I am making a wall mount for my friends TV. He liked mine so much, he begged me to make him one. You will not find one that is anything like mine in stores. And when you see it, you are gonna want one too!
