Tore open a package from hero JD Holmes today to find a couple of gems from honorary Telecultist Carl Abrahamsson inside. His recently published California Infernal via his Trapart Books imprint features photographs of Anton Lavey by OG paparazzi Walter Fischer, and it's a fascinating glimpse into the six six sixties. Jayne Mansfield is in there, as well as Famous Monsters of Filmland chief Forrest J. Ackerman. There's even a brief introduction by Kenneth Anger. Astounding. As far as the second gem, Fenris Wolf number 8 was in there, but I'm too busy grooving and California dreaming to check it out right now.
