Walter Hopps...Walter opened Ferus Gallery and partnered with Irving Blum and they gave Warhol his first show in 1962 which had his Campbell soup can set of 32 which Walter convinced Irving to purchase for 1000$ and later in 1996 sell to MOMA for 15 million. In 1963 the young Walter organized Marcel Duchamp’s first retrospective at Pasadena Art Museum where Duchamp played chess with a nude opponent.
