The Wandmaker’s Apprentice
I’m in a Wizarding World mood lately and I’m reading this fics with all kinds of possible jobs the characters have in “present time” after the books (epilogue compliant or not).
What I haven’t read yet, but would love to, is a fic where perhaps Draco tried to help out the prisoners during the war and it created a bond. Or after the war he has been ordered into community service as part of his punishment.
Doesn’t matter what the background reason is, but I want him to apprentice under Ollivander (or just be a regular help at first, as a community servant and have him wanting to learn more).
Get him to learn about different techniques and combinations and have him experiment himself with new things and perhaps use it as a metaphor for him getting a new outlook on life.
(lovely if combined with some drarry or even some Neville/Draco, but honestly I’d see it more as a self-discovery fic and a pairing isn’t a requirement. If you want one, have any you want of course ^_^)
