let me distract you.
It’s not the first time he’s at the hospital and it’s definitely not the first time he’s waiting for his significant other to give birth. William had no idea why he was so anxious. He’s been through this at least twice, so why the nerves? Maybe it’s because it was Santana’s first time? Maybe it was because he suddenly conjured up all the ways that this could go wrong? God, Santana was tiny. And now she’s giving birth to twins. What if something goes wrong and she... At the thought of something terrible might happen to Santana, William felt a huge wave of anxiety.
As soon as he felt his stomach drop, someone took hold of his hand and squeezed tightly. He looked over to his side and found his favourite woman in the world: his sister. Wanda has literally been through everything with him. She was, is, and always will be a constant in his life. The fact that she’s here with him, giving him strength in his time of need makes him cherish her even more. He could never live without Wanda, she’s the other half of him.
With a shaky smile, William held tight onto Wanda’s hand and nodded. He needs the distraction. He can’t be stuck in his head any longer or else he might go crazy and do something stupid, like burst into the operating room.
Thank God and everything else for Wanda.
