And Wander @wanderunderyonderground
I've been pretty inactive in pretty much all my blogs so here's a quick Wander and Max. My blog for the characters is @wanderunderyonderground if anyone is interested to throw some asks or something at them.
Wander vs Dr. Glutton
Something was wrong.
Wander didn't remember what they were doing here amongst the trees, surrounded by crunchy, fresh snow. Blanketed with it. It was heavy on their shoulders, putting the weight there where it ached. They must have been standing here for hours.
They realized the ache of loneliness crept in on their fragmented soul. With a start a hand was summoned and wrenched back the hood, throwing snow off their person and quickly rests on their cracked skull.
Wander sighed silently in relief as their skull was soothed and the loneliness ebbed away. The hand calmed it's soothing once they had calmed. They then finally took in their surroundings.
Whiteness, pine trees, a path barely visible beneath unshoveled snow, a overgrown bush and the large set of doors to the Ruins.
What were they doing here? The doors can't be opened on this side. It was done so so there wouldn't be risk of injury due to the Ruins namesake. It was collasping and falling apart, but then again so was Waterfall. This door and the caveins in Waterfall trapped Wander to the snowy landscape and a small portion of the watery caverns. The ones not yet flooded at least.
. . .
They may as well build a snowmonster while they are here. Someone to tell jokes too. This door could be good for knock knock jokes . . . if they weren't so fearful of making noise.
