that's progress right there :) you have the right mindset, I just hope you're not getting hit with a lot of unnecessary and rude comments, even if they try to pass them off as 'well-meaning'

no I’m not getting any comments anymore, just stares. when I was younger people often asked me about it, 14 year olds are different I guess (although it’s still not right)
