The video of my trip to Africa and climbing Kilimanjaro via Marangu Route.
ps. Thank you amater photographeur
One of my newest paintings. My brother got me a new set of paints and I had so many beautiful colors to play with. I haven't named this painting yet, it's simply time and appreciation of our sunsets in the Columbia River Gorge.
Here I am. | Milanlyn
Sometimes, I like to be in front of the camera too.
A while back I posted photos from this, found here, and I finally had the time to put the photos into a timelapse and share.
I am fond of time, the way it pushes forward, how life never stops. When I watch the growth of animals, plants, mountains and how the sun never goes backwards, it makes me think about how my life is continuously moving forward. After my trip to Africa, I promised to never look back, to always face forward and keep moving, to let go and remember, Hakuna Matata. During my time since then I've noticed that the world flies by while I move slowly, I've learned how to adapt myself, how patience and hard work makes success.
After watching the sun rise in Africa at the top of Kilimanjaro, I wanted to try and replicate that feeling and reproduce the image. What is the best way to describe the feeling of time and its satisfaction? The time it takes to wait for the sun and the instant it takes for it to rise. Waiting forces you to stay calm, to stand in silence, to think. You get lost in your own thoughts, you make time to consider things. Then time catches up to you and you realize you're standing in front of natures beauties.
