Hello
Hello world this is WAPPOW! I did this blog to share my thoughts about games and the world around us. Also I do reviews about movies that I watched.
New icon! Likey or no likey?
Hey Tumblr.
So, remember when we helped that girl get a fluffy chicken?
This is like that.
My mom runs this company that does a lot of conferences for social media and stuff, which you can find here, and for some reason she agreed to help me put together a convention under it. She will pay for everything, help me set it up, and all of that good stuff.
But here's where you come in:
I need 1,000 notes on this post to get her to fully agree. We have to make sure there will at least be some attendees before money is thrown at a convention.
You guys got 30,000 for a fluffy chicken, this shouldn't be a problem, right?
But I'll throw in a little extra if you do.
The entire convention will be planned by you.
There are limits, of course, but as soon as we get those notes, I'll start a side blog just for the con, and from there we will start the voting.
The revenue will be somewhere around San Francisco The name will probably end up being either some variation of "Wappow Con" or something to credit my mom's company, or "Fandomitis" because I think that's cool. Suggestions will also be welcome. (Seriously, I suck at this name thing. Help me. Please.) The theme will be pretty broad, but I would like to try to put it in the comic/Superwholock/cartoon kind of area. The dates will be decided by me and my mother, but I'm trying to get it to happen sometime around the end of next year. Maybe even late Summer, if that's possible. Worst case scenario, it happens the year after next year. Oh darn.
Beyond that, we're going to look into getting some cool guests. My mom knows someone that worked on Wreck-It Ralph, and we'll try to contact some other people to see if we can make this worth your guys' efforts. Panels will be held as well, if anyone actually offers to hold tham, and of course those booth things and stuff. Yeah, guys, it's an actual con. Wow.
But yeah. Hopefully, we can get this to be as froody as humanly possible.
