Since erudite I'm sure can fix Ayden and help him walk would Eric be extremely pissed and try to sabotage his recovery so he wouldn't be able to get Jade back
You are absolutely right. Erudite is the most medically advanced faction, and they are also 200 years into the future. In all honesty, Erudite was ecstatic that this happened to Ayden, because now they have a test subject for their new medical advancements.
Eric thought Ayden would either be killed or would be so badly injured he’d be declared unfit for duty. But, not only did Ayden survive, by the time he leaves the hospital (which won’t be for a while), he’s actually going to be twice as strong, and healthy as he was before. He’ll almost be invincible.
By the time Ayden is able to come back to the compound, things will have progressed significantly between Eric and Jade. Their relationship will be public, and Ayden coming back will kick things into overdrive with Eric. He’ll start making moves to make sure Jade doesn’t go anywhere, and that Ayden is no longer a factor in her life.
Eric will do what he has to do, and won’t feel bad about it.
